The ceramic fibers are composed of :
   - ceramic fibres (between 2 and 4 microns) with a maximum length of 50 mm
   - support fibers composed of viscose or polyester and a frame either of glass (silionne) or nickel chrome

Principal characteristics :
   - High temperature resistance (static use) Excellent potential for thermal and electrical isolation (glass frame)
   - Very good resistance to chemical agents (except fluorohydric acid, phosphoric and concentrated bases)
   - Total absence of chlorine
   - Good resistance to molten aluminum and zinc.

Chemical composition :
Al2O3 45 - 50 %
SiO2 48 - 53 %
Fe2O3 0,7 - 1,2 %
Na2O Trace
MgO
CaO

Physical characteristics :
Colour : white - Melting point : 1760°C - Specific weight : 2,5 - 2,7 g/cm³
Shrinkage : 0 % at 900°C - 1,25 % at 1000°C - 3,7 % at 1200°C
Ignition loss : approximately 15 % - Thermal conductivity at 540°C : 0,13 W/m.K
